Let’s Make: Cardamom Peach Crisp. An Easy Exotic Middle-Finger to Peach Pie
The best summer peach dessert recipe that completely blows peach pie out of the juice in terms of ease, nutrition, and flavor. This is a must eat dessert during warm summer nights and after fighting with your mom about how she loves my brother more than me. I don’t have siblings though.
Cardamom is a pretty delicate and exotic spice that can be found in Indian and Arabic supermarkets. It’s a relatively strong spice which can get stronger the longer it sits within the dish. It taste like a mix between warm cinnamon and zesty lemon. I usually buy the pods, but the powder work as well.
I hate handling delicate pie dough which always seems to crack and crumble whenever it is being handle. This is a great substitute for peach pies, and often leaves a crowd wondering what they just got their hands on…not because it’s bad….but because it is full of flavor.
